Boardwalk
Experience the Port of Bandon Boardwalk
The Port of Bandon Boardwalk is a vibrant part of Bandon’s waterfront, offering a unique mix of local services, recreation, art, and beautiful views of the Coquille River.
Whether you’re preparing for a day on the water or simply exploring the waterfront, you’ll find everything from fresh local seafood, fishing licenses, bait and tackle, and deep-sea fishing charters to marine fuel and other boating essentials.
The Boardwalk is also a destination all its own. Throughout the waterfront, visitors will discover a unique collection of wood-carved marine life sculptures, many created by local artist Chris Foltz. The collection has grown through a combination of in-kind donations made in memory of Bandon residents and artwork generously loaned for public display, making the sculptures a meaningful reflection of our community, its people, and its connection to the coast.
You’ll also find handcrafted Myrtlewood benches built by the Port of Bandon Maintenance Crew, providing beautiful places to sit, relax, and watch fishing and recreational boats make their way along the river.
Enjoy the colorful mosaic outdoor amphitheater, or bring a picnic and settle into our glass-enclosed picnic shelter, offering a comfortable place to enjoy the waterfront while getting out of the coastal wind.
Take a stroll along the Boardwalk and venture onto the 300-foot concrete crabbing and transient moorage dock for an up-close experience of Bandon’s working waterfront.
Whether you’re here to fish, crab, explore the artwork, enjoy a picnic, or simply take in the view, we invite you to slow down and enjoy one of Bandon’s favorite gathering places.
Come share the waterfront with us at the Port of Bandon.
