Boating & Commercial Fishing at the Port of Bandon

Well protected from coastal weather, the Port of Bandon Marina offers a convenient and welcoming stop for commercial fishing vessels, recreational boaters, sport fishermen, and ocean-going cruisers traveling the Southern Oregon Coast.

Located adjacent to Bandon’s historic Old Town, the marina is just steps away from restaurants, shops, galleries, and other waterfront businesses. Boaters can easily access provisions and services during their stay, and Port staff are happy to assist visitors in finding what they need.

The Port provides marine fuel and pump-out services, along with convenient access to some of the best ocean and river fishing, crabbing, and recreational boating on the Oregon Coast.  Boaters with vessels moored at the Port also have access to a secured restroom and shower facility, providing added comfort and convenience during their stay

A Working Waterfront

Commercial fishing has played an important role in Bandon’s history and continues to be a valued part of our working waterfront. As the local fishing industry has changed over the years, the Port has expanded its facilities and services to welcome recreational fishing, tourism, and visiting boaters while continuing to support commercial fishing vessels.

The Port welcomes commercial fishermen and supports opportunities for licensed commercial vessels to sell fresh seafood directly from their boats at the dock, giving locals and visitors the chance to purchase seafood straight from the source.

Commercial Vessel Information

Commercial vessels planning to moor or sell seafood at the Port should contact the Port of Bandon Harbor Office prior to arrival to confirm licensing, moorage, and other requirements.

Commercial vessel operators will be required to provide proof of current vessel insurance and their vessel Coast Guard identification number when registering with the Port. Please have the appropriate documentation available upon arrival.

Our Harbor Office staff is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to assist with marina services, moorage, and commercial vessel requirements.
